The premises included many facilities to facilitate the lifestyle of the student’s busy school schedule. It offers free Wi-Fi and study spaces, spacious common areas to socialise, a cinema room to watch movies with your housemates and a roof terrace for London’s hot summer days. In addition, you can skip the gym membership as you’ll have access to the on-site gym.

The neighbourhood

As soon as you step out of Walthamstow central station, you can have direct access to Walthamstow Wetlands; the newest and biggest nature reserve recently opened to the general public. William Morris Gallery inside Lloyd Park that surrounds the estate. An excellent place for a walk and it also has a beautiful duck pond to admire. Another fantastic place to visit is “God’s Own Junkyard”, The most extensive collection of neon signs in Europe. Lastly, Mirth, Marvel and Maud is now a fantastic cocktail bar and pub with an amazing cultural program and art-house cinema. The accommodation is a quick walk away from the Walthamstow Market and Mall, where you can find everything you need from clothing to groceries, electronics and recreational activities, such as cinema and game rooms.

Canvas Walthamstow is very well connected to some of London’s leading educational institutions, including UCL East, the University of East London, Staffordshire University and Queen Mary University. Located in the quaint Borough of Waltham Forest, a little slice of country village life in urban London and just one minute away from Blackhorse Road Tube Station, the residence offers easy access to North London. Walthamstow Central station provides Underground connections to Liverpool Street Railway Station, as well as the Victoria line to Brixton and central London. The area is also served by several bus routes, including the 158 towards Crooked Billet, the 158, 230 and W11 towards Leyton or Walthamstow Central, the 123 and 230 towards Tottenham and the 123 towards Gants Hill.
